Family villa
A new-build villa beautifully located on the Reeuwijkse Plassen. The owners were already working with an architect but came to Wolterinck for the interior design and decoration. They were strongly attracted by Wolterinck’s natural use of materials and in the same vein we applied a colour palette of subdued earthy tints in the villa and fabrics with a pure luxurious feel. The harmonization of indoors with outdoors, so characteristic of our designs, was formed by the bricks from the exterior façade being reflected in elements such as the load-bearing columns of the fireplace.

The integrated wall lighting, banister and steps in black steel along with the decorative plastered walls create a fascinating contrast of materials.
