Indoors and outdoors are inextricably connected with each other for Wolterinck. This is particularly clear in projects for which we design both the interior, exterior and the garden, yet even when we redesign an existing garden it is the line connecting inside and outside that guides. And regardless of the size of the project, Wolterinck organises everything, from design to construction. Wolterinck’s gardens are typically peaceful, simple and with lines of sight that create a sense of spaciousness. Garden rooms can provide a degree of intimacy in our predominately green gardens which may also feature swimming pools, pool houses, hockey fields and tennis courts. Close to the house, we forge a link with the building’s architecture, deeper into the garden we let the surroundings lead the design.
