Dutch farmhouse
The typical Dutch landscape around this historic farmhouse seems to come straight out of a painting by a 17th century Dutch artist. The expanse of the surrounding area can be felt throughout the garden which is filled with old fruit trees and art by Martine Demal. Just a stone’s throw away from the city, serenity and space prevail, yet it was quite different when the owner first bought the house. It had countless small rooms which made the house feel dark and cramped. Wolterinck changed this – and went a step further. It was a massive project and it involved all the disciplines of design.
