Zhuang Hong Yi

The Chinese artist Zhuang Hong Yi has lived and worked in the Netherlands since 1992. After studying art in China, he went on to study at the Art Academy in Groningen and first exhibited at Groninger Museum in 1992, with a second exhibition following in 2007. He is best known for his successful series ‘Flowers’ although it is his lesser-known ‘Head and Face’ series that captivated the art world.
