Luxury Alpine chalets
Wolterinck completely designed the interiors of two wooden chalets in the French Alps town of Chamonix where the dramatic mountain landscape provided an important source of inspiration. The chalets, a main house and a guest house, are connected by an underground wellness area. By using the same materials in both chalets but in different ways, Wolterinck gave each chalet its own character whilst creating a unity between them.

Every detail counts
The blue steel staircase is deep blue, almost black, and beautifully complements the other materials used.
