Canal house
Wolterinck was given the task of converting a narrow, somewhat dated canal-side house into a comfortable, modern pied-à-terre. A thorough renovation resulted in features such as an open layout on each of the floors and sliding glass doors to give a sense of space yet maintain intimacy.

Every detail counts
Black steel is a recurring material in this house. It’s used here in the sleek frame of this custom shelving with leather backing.
The robust leather stairs and bronze-coloured mirror create a spacious and luxurious feel that make the small staircase appear larger.
The natural stone floor has a wood look and is laid in a herringbone pattern.
